-
Q1: What is Power Lifting Mode?
A: In this mode, AC180 can run high-power heating devices up to 2,700W, such as space heaters, hair dryers, electric blankets, etc. Do NOT use this unit to run an air conditioner or washing machine. -
Q2: Can it charge and discharge at the same time?
A: Yes. -
Q3: How do I know whether my appliance can work well with the AC180?
A: Calculate the total wattage of your devices. AC180 should work if the load doesn't exceed its rated 1,800W. -
Q4: How long can it run my device?
A:The AC180 has different running times depending on the device you're using it with.
For high-power devices, the running time = Battery capacity × DoD × η ÷ load power.
For low-power devices, the running time = Battery capacity × DoD × η ÷ (load power + self-consumption of AC180).
DoD refers to Depth of Discharge and η is local inverter efficiency.
For AC180, DoD is 90%, η is 85%, and self-consumption is about 15W.
E.g. If you run a 100W blender with it, the running time will be:
1152Wh × 90% × 85% ÷ (100W+15W) ≈ 7.66 hrs
Note:
1) The formula is NOT suitable for inductive loads with compressors, like refrigerator, air conditioner, etc.
2) The above data is for reference ONLY.
-
Q5: How quickly can I charge the AC180?
A: The AC180 supports up to 1,440W input. Plug it into a wall outlet and turn on the Turbo Charging mode on the BLUETTI App, and you can fill it up in only 1.3-1.8 hours. -
Q6: What's the difference between Silent, Standard, and Turbo Charging modes?
A:These are the 3 AC charging modes of AC180, each with a different input power and charging speed.
It generates only 45dB of sound in the silent charging mode.
Charging Mode Input Power Charging Time Silent 160W 3-3.5 hrs Standard 255W 2.1-2.6 hrs Turbo 600W 1.2-1.7 hrs -
Q7: Does AC180 support BLUETTI App control?
A: Yes, via Bluetooth. -
Q8: What kind of solar panel should I choose for AC180?
A:Please refer to the following requirements:
1. Total open circuit voltage: 12-60V
2. Max. input power: 500W
3. Equipped with MC4 connectors.
Highly Recommended:
1× BLUETTI PV420: ≈ 3.7 hrs*.
1× BLUETTI PV350: ≈ 4.3 hrs*.
2× BLUETTI PV200: ≈ 3.9 hrs*.

-
Q9: Is the AC180 waterproof?
A: No -
Q10: Can I use or charge AC180 in sub-zero temperatures?
A:You can use the AC180 to power your devices in cold weather, but please avoid recharging it below freezing.
The operating temperature ranges for AC180 are:
Charging: 0℃-40℃/32℉-104℉
Discharging: -20℃-40℃/-4℉-104℉
-
Q11: Can it be laid on its side to save space?
A: No, this may damage the internal structure. Please keep it in an upright position either during storage or moving. -
Q12: Is it possible to replace the built-in battery?
A: No. If the internal battery pack malfunctions or is dead, please contact BLUETTI Customer Service. -
Q13: Can I expand its capacity by connecting it to B80/B230/B300/B300S batteries?
A:Currently, the AC180 supports capacity expansion with B80, B230, or B300 batteries. To connect B80 batteries, you'll need the Aviation to DC7909 cable*, while the P090D cable is required for B230/B300 batteries. Please make sure the batteries are in Power Bank Mode.
