BLUETTI AC200P Portable Power Station | 2,000W 2,000Wh

Purchased to power lights and equipment in van conversion, reducing need for complex electrics and routing wires around the place. Happy with the purchase so far on initial trips; easy to use interface. More sockets would be handy, but I knew what I was buying! Plenty of power and it has been able to power everything I have required so far.

Bluetti are havin a laugh they ask for a review on a product they still haven’t delivered..
A high end product and they can’t use a decent delivery company .

Four weeks into "full time" van life and this piece of equipment has been a god send until I sort out the wiring for the 12 volt battery system, lights etc. Highly recommended and I'm looking forward to the day when it works alongside my "normal" leisure battery system.

I bought this to help out in my campervan. Within a year it got to the stage that it will not charge.(It goes straight to 100% and switches off yet it only has a few % charge) I have found suggested solutions and tried every one of them and the maximum charge I have ever managed is about 20%. I spent months messaging Bluetti service and tried everything they suggested. Then they said you bought it from Amazon they will have to help you. They have never responded to any request for help. It is now outside of warranty and a waste of nearly £2K.

We bought this Bluetti so we could run our fridge etc in our small camper/ car. The unit is very heavy that wouldn’t be a problem but we didn’t realise that this model out of all the Bluetti’s doesn’t have an App or Bluetooth connection. We can’t hide it away in the boot it will have to be somewhere else so we can get to the very small screen. Otherwise it powers all our things with ease.

Very ease of use and happy

I bought this as I wanted to store 'spare' power. When my solar panels have charged my PV battery to 100% I would be exporting the excess electricity to the grid for a small fraction of what I have to pay when importing. I object to this difference and therefore now store that excess in the Bluetti and use the Bluetti when the solar generation is low. I haven't get used the Bluetti whilst away from home, but have tested all the connections and all seems fine.

I bought the AC200P with such high expectations, it was the market leader that everyone was talking about. The first issue I had was the working battery capacity, real world usage was not the 2000wh more like 600 to 800wh through the DC inverter. Now I understand that there will be losses in efficiency using the inverter but in my mind that is just poor. Also consider that some 20% of the battery capacity is held back to prevent full discharge of the batteries -something lithium does not like. Then there was the charging - yep I bought the 200w portable panels which one by one failed in the space of 14 months with light use.
Then there was the phantom discharging of the unit. I would charge it up and off then in the morning I would turn it on and the battery would have dropped even though the unit was switched off.
The final straw for me was when the screen just stopped working 15 months after buying it- meaning no way to use the unit.
In short this is is not worth the money, I most certainly could not rely upon it in an emergency.
Buy it if you want but I suspect you will have buyer’s remorse after a few months

The item is perfect for our converted horsebox into icecream trailer. It runs a 1.5kw water heater as needed, the freezer, a small fridge plus lights and till. It means we can go totally off grid when we attend events, and no reliance on dirty, noisy generators. Clean useable energy, and plenty of it!
