Useless peace of kit

No, I do not recommend this product if you want to add extra solar panels to your grid. I have a 200-watt solar panel on the top of my van (flat), which adds 25W to my AC200MAX on a cloudy day. I have identical 200-watt panels facing the sun, generating even more power than the one on top of the van, but there is no input to the battery. The AC200MAX shows a voltage of 58.9, but 0 watts.

So, no, I do not recommend it as it only works in clear skies during the summer. When most of us actually do not need it, it won't be helpful. When needed, like from late autumn to late spring or in cloudy weather, it won't work efficiently enough to make a difference. I expected the sun-facing panels to add more power when needed, but that is just not true with this product.

The product arrived well packaged and fast. Not used as yet, but the look and feel of it exudes a well built quality product

Very poor quality charger!

I purchased the Bluetti D050S Charge Enhancer to complement my AC200Max and 2x B230 batteries, paying £180 for what I expected to be a reliable product. After testing it once for less than 20 minutes, I carefully packed it back into its original packaging and stored it safely, intending to use it when needed.

Fast forward 13 months, I finally attempted to use it again, only to find that it doesn’t work at all. Despite being essentially brand new with minimal use, Bluetti support was completely unhelpful. They refused to assist because it was just outside the warranty period, showing no consideration for the fact that the unit had never been properly used.

This experience has been disappointing and frustrating, especially given the high cost and my investment in their ecosystem. I expected better support and understanding from a company with such a strong reputation. Potentially they have lost my repeat custom.
