Love this - works as it should and love all the charging options available to it. The app needs a bit of work but not enough to put me off the unit as i imagine this will improve as time goes by.

After a lot of research I decided to purchase the Ac500+B300s. It's been very useful as a home battery back up system as well as a power back up at work for tools and lighting.. I intend to slowly expand with solar panel purchases to increase my system.

This is a serious piece of kit. A real workhorse that I use to power the majority of my home demands 24/7.
Only have temporary solar panel installed at the moment and weather has been attrocious. So slow charging. Can the BMS battery charging rate be increased with software?
Looking forward to it all getting done. Not going on grid just cutting mains power useage. Not on feed in tarif. Have Ep500pro as well just feeding different appliances.
We bought this to replace the AC300. We found the increased inverter output and charging rate was perfect for running our household electrics. We coupled this with an electrician installed transfer switch so now on sunny days we can run our house grid free and save up enough energy to run it overnight. Currently my bills have been slashed which is great as we have a new baby and the increased laundry and energy bills are not great under the current market conditions.
We chose this over a traditional house solar setup due to the fact we have quite a few powercuts over the year. So it's felt great seeing our power staying on when the neighbors goes off (some have house solar but none have the more expensive inverters that island their house, i.e. their solar also turns off in a power cut). It is also great as the investment is not lost if we move house!
