Great evolution for the solar generator

not sure until we use it in the field
stack nicely. nice shape for storing and setting up an off grid system. We look forward to trying them out in the below zero environment of southeast Colorado. We will test the system on the rv before we move completely off grid to determine the charge time for powering the rv daily use while off grid.

We are green in solar, this unit made everything easy and exciting. We went through a Indiegogo campaign, received on time as promised. Can barely wait to expand the system as it has so much room to grow with.

Bluetti AC500 + B300S Review
This is a pretty good unit and will appeal to those that want something large enough to power a household on limited power during an outage or other event where power is needed. Overall, the unit has operated very well in the several months it has been in operation. The unit has been charged with all methods successfully but is primarily charged by solar with a couple of larger Bluetti panels (PV350 and PV420). The unit is very good at it's basic function - relatively large amount of storage and a large inverter and no issues have been experienced so far. A few things that were noted - the wireless phone charging has been hit and miss but most will not use this feature on a unit of this size anyway as it is just not efficient to do so. One other minor thing that was noted was that the original app measured how much solar was generated with the panels but that went away with a software update (it was later discovered that the feature was still there but you have to sign into the wifi account in order to view it which is not ideal). As with all of Bluetti's expandable units, this one takes up a lot more space than just the unit due to the large cables that have to stick out of the side but that may not be an issue for most users. In the end, the unit works pretty much as advertised and is expandable so there is a lot of potential here. A good unit for those wanting a good amount of power storage in a portable (although very heavy) form.
